Baseball should be fun. Period.
Youth baseball has lost its way. It’s become too expensive, too exclusive, and too focused on elite rosters—leaving too many kids on the bench and many families priced out of the game.
At Sandlot Sluggers, we host free tournaments (ages 8-11) built on a simple belief: every kid deserves to play. Your players will bat every game, rotate through multiple positions, and get real opportunities to compete and grow.
No politics. No costs. Just baseball the way it should be—fun, inclusive, and focused on effort and sportsmanship over trophies.

100% Free
Zero cost to register. Zero cost to play. We believe money shouldn’t decide who gets to experience travel baseball.

Everyone Plays
All players bat in every game. All players rotate through different positions. No politics. No bench riding.

Safe and Fun
We impose strict pitch limits, keep bases closed for younger players, and focus on playing the game the right way.
Tournaments that focus on what matters.
We design our tournaments around development, playing time, meaningful experiences, and removing barriers so all families can participate. You can expect:
4
Games Guaranteed
Your team plays a full weekend. No single-elimination heartbreak. Every kid gets plenty of opportunities to learn, improve, and have fun.
80
Pitches Max per weekend
We protect young arms with strict limits: 35 pitches per game, 80 for the entire tournament. No “saving” one pitcher for a final. Safety first, always.
8-11
Ages Welcome
Perfect for that sweet spot where kids are learning to love the game. Mixed ages and skill levels encouraged—just like the sandlot.
$0
Cost to Play
Completely free. No registration fees, no hidden costs. Every family deserves access to quality baseball, regardless of their budget.
